Alyssa and Victor are Engaged! Part 1

I met Alyssa and Victor in Cape May a few weeks ago and we walked around and chatted the whole time.  I know I had a great time just being with these two super sweet, kind and wonderful people.  Alyssa and Victor are getting married in October and I can’t wait for their wedding, which sounds like it’s going to be amazing.

While we were in Cape May on a beautiful evening, I also happened to take some pictures.   This was literally the first shot.  I always find that when the first shot is great, the rest of the shoot follows along.
You’ll notice that Victor is also wearing a ring.  He’s wearing his wedding ring and it’s Chilean custom that the room wears his wedding ring on the right hand until the day of the wedding–when it, of course, is placed on the ring finger of the left hand.  I love that.Cape May had many places to shoot.   We started in the bandstand which you can’t miss if you are in Cape May.I’d say that Victor did a great job picking out Alyssa’s engagement ring! Our beautiful bride-to-be Alyssa.Yum, Taffy!  Victor had his first piece of salt water taffy and I believe he enjoyed it very much! All the colors of Cape May were so inspiring. Congress Hall.I love how Alyssa is holding on toe Victor in this shot. So sweet. Beautiful!
Victor was only kidding.  He has a playful sense of humor! What a perfect shot.   Stop in tomorrow for part 2!

So Fast

The months are just flying by, aren’t they?  Here it is almost May.

Phillies Game

Last night we went to a Phillies game and had really good seats (section A//Diamond Club).  It was a beautiful, if cool, evening.  Ethan took a friend and the four of us had a great time.   A shot of the stadium with my FujiX100.  All these images are straight out of the camera with no editing and I’m amazed at the colors and sharpness of the images.

Ethan with the Philadelphia skyline behind him. I love the Jumbotron. In fact, I would love to be on it some day:)  The little boy in the row behind us made it onto the jumbotron.  I am convinced, had Ethan and his friend not gone to get food, they would have been featured as well. The stands filling up!The Phanatic is hilarious.  He was in the section right next to ours…...and everyone was happy to see him!

Bloom

This is a bad picture of my amazing tree peony.  It blooms (usually early May) for about one week each year.  But what a week it is! The flowers are about the size of a salad plate, btw, and once the flowers start dying, we have large pink petals all over the nearby grass and driveway.

Up

This is the sky ride (or whatever it’s name is) at Seaside Heights. I swear I’ve been on it when I was little.   It’s right outside the Jersey Shore shore house.
