I’m headed out to Las Vegas tomorrow morning to attend WPPI which is the largest gathering of professional photographers in the US! I’m super excited (but have a ton of things to get accomplished before I get on the plane tomorrow morning
I’m looking forward to networking, making new friends, and seeing the trade show and all the new products that get unveiled at this time of year. I’ve also signed up for a bunch of classes and a Trash the Dress shoot which will take place on the Strip with a bunch of models wearing wedding dresses! I’ll come back energized and filled with lots of new information to kick off my busy spring season.
While I’m gone, I’d like you guys to help me with a question I’ve been struggling with. You may know that I have a small studio in Mullica Hill NJ right on Main Street. I love it as it’s perfect to meet clients in. There are a few problems with it such as there’s no central air and it gets very stuffy in the summer, you can’t regulate the heat in the winter, so even on the lowest setting it gets boiling hot in there. The landlord didn’t plow the parking lot not one time in all the snow we had which made parking difficult and, on some occasions, impossible. And, most importantly, there’s no bathroom!! Which means I can’t really stay in there too long! So, here’s the question: should I keep the studio or bring it back into my formal living room at my house? If you are one of my brides, and you came to visit me at my studio, let me know your honest opinion about whether coming to my house would have changed your mind about booking your wedding with me. Feel free to use the links, above, to contact me privately if you’d like vs. leaving a comment below. Thanks!!
Here’s the A1 sign that’s outside of my studio. I do love this sign.
