And here are a few more b/w film shots of Jillian and Ryan’s day.  Jillian stepped outside to see the spot where she’d be getting married.  You can tell she was thrilled with how it all looked. 

I shot a few rolls of film at Jillian’s wedding last month and I finally have them back from the lab.  There’s a funny story about the film……  The lab mixed up this roll of Jillian’s film with a someone else’s roll.  He was a hunter and the pix were of dead animals (deer and elk, I believe). It appears when he got his film back from the lab he was quite disappointed to see Jillian as opposed to the deer. When the lab called me to ask me to send his negatives back to them, we laughed over the fact that the hunter wasn’t happy about getting wedding photos!

Who wouldn’t love to see Jillian’s lovely face? Here she is before she had hair or make-up done and she’s so happy and beautiful.

Here’s part 2 of Jillian and Ryan’s day.  We stopped at a local apple farm to take some portraits.  Here’s the General Lee in all her orange beauty. 

I mentioned on a post last week that Jillian and Ryan’s wedding was going to be a special wedding for me to shoot.  I was honored that such a talented photographer, Jillian Kathryn, would choose  me to shoot her wedding.  It was an amazing day, in so many ways, and I only hope that my photos captured some of the magic!   Here’s to the new Mr and Mrs Goodman!

Married!  Yay!

After every ceremony I wait and watch to see what the bride and groom do after they walk down the isle.  Here Jillian looks so happy and in love.

The setting for Lori and Mike’s outdoor wedding was picture perfect.   We stopped at this lovely bridge for some shots….

Lori and Mike were married, on the last day of September, at Elkins Estate.   It was an amazing day filled with family and friends, but, most importantly, it was a day the celebrated Lori and Mike!

This post is for those of you who are interested in photography, and for anyone who is interested in stunning reception locations!  This was taken at Lori and Mike’s gorgeous Friday wedding.  I brought along my Fuji X100 to compare to my DSLR.  This first shot was taken with the DSLR.

Back on April 2nd, I was shooting Elizabeth and Andy’s wedding. I took one film shot. One.  This is it.  The film speed was too slow for the conditions in the church, but I actually really love this shot.  Here’s the link to the original post. I prefer this shot over the properly-exposed digital shot as the colors in this shot look almost like a watercolor painting.

I took a fim camera to Julie and Bill’s wedding and used it for about 5 shots.  I’m not sure why I didn’t use it more, but here are the few shots that I did take with it.
