When I first met Angela, I was struck by her happiness….and every time I’ve seen her, she’s been smiling and happy! Last Sunday, on a raining morning, she was no different. She greeted me with a huge smile and a big hug; a smile big enough, I think, to chase away all the rain that threatened. We had no rain, all day, so I’d say her tactic worked! Let’s start with Angela’s beautiful dress….
Usually I show the bride’s shoes, but I elected to show Angela’s “just in case I need them” rain boots! *PS: She didn’t need them.
Angela’s dad is an artist. He took me around and showed me lots of his work in the house. There were sculptures in marble, paintings, bas reliefs, and wire sculptures. I enjoyed my time with him, seeing his work and his workshop (in the garage). I thought this piece was pretty cool against the orange of the wall!
Hair and make-up time!
I left Angela’s house to get some shots of Dave getting ready! Once I took those shots, I then took Dave out back for some portraits. I don’t always get to spend a lot of time with just the groom, so I’m glad that I had this time with Dave.
If you know me, you know I love this shot! Dave humored me when I asked him to squat near the “No Parking” sign!
Angela’s turn to get dressed.
The flowers were amazing. Angela is a decorator and she has such an eye for details. The flowers, and her florist, were such an important part of her day and she did a great job choosing her florist Michael Bruce. He’s in Collingswood and here is his info here.
I loved this tattoo.
Angela and Dave elected to see each other before the wedding. It always does make for a more relaxed ceremony and it’s a special time for the bride and groom! Look at Angela’s face; she’s sooo happy!
Now time for Angela’s portraits!
I love these..the light here, at Renault, is perfect!
My favorite.
The week before Angela and Dave’s wedding, I had Jessica and Jared’s wedding at the same venue, Renault Winery. I was worried that I was going to shoot the same shots over again, and I didn’t like the thought of it because I prefer to shoot in new places. I didn’t have to worry at all. Renault is big and they have a left side (which is the hotel side) and a right side (which is the golf and winery side). Angela and Dave were left side: Jessica and Jared were right side. This series was taken behind the hotel.

Oh Gosh, I like to think that I’m funny, but I’m not– so here Dave probably said something that cracked himself up!

This inside of the Tuscany house hotel is lovely!
This shot was taken in the room where the party was held. Stop in tomorrow for the ceremony and the party!
